Unfinished entry... it was only yesterday, but I don't remember what else I ate. Jay made chocolate chip cookies, I know I had some of those. And toast with butter. Maybe an apple? No real supper...lots of orange juice

Feb 27
The verdict: raging sinus infection as well as an unidentified throat infection.
Breakfast: lots of tea, scrambled egg, Breton crackers, plum
Snack: raisin bran with almond milk, tea
Lunch: Elliot's leftover, uneaten and cold grilled cheese sandwich; nectarine
Supper: Lipton cup-a-soup (vegetable), raspberry cereal bar, nectarine, orange juice
Snack: requested hubby bring back soft & cheap chocolate from the convenience store. Still waiting to see what he brings - need soft since it hurts to chew and cheap since I can't taste it anyway. Boooo!

February 9th
I'm sick and have reverted back to my first-trimester stand-bys from when I was prego with the boys. Nothing else is appealing. Plus I know these foods generally stay down! Here's hoping the antibiotics kick in soon.
Breakfast, 7am
4 pieces whole wheat toast with butter
Snack, 10am
4 strawberries, handful of green grapes, wedge of cheddar cheese
Lunch, 12:30
Sushi: 9pc California roll, 4 pc Ko-Doraku roll (fat roll with tempura shrimp, avocado & spicy sauce), side salad with ginger dressing
Supper, 7pm
2 grilled cheese sandwiches: whole wheat bread, lots of butter, processed cheese
I've been a good girl and didn't give into the craving I had to treat myself with a Cadbury Creme Egg and Minute Maid lemonade. I drank lots and lots of ice cold water.
Certainly not a candida diet approved day, but these are my comfort foods and I needed them today.

Moan and groan
Today started out ok - oatmeal with blueberries. I had a decent enough lunch: bean quesadillas with tomato, carrot and goat's cheese. With sour cream and fresh guacamole for dipping. Then I raided dear hubby's chocolate supply. Yummilicious! Supper came mostly out of a box: processed fish cakes (lots of sugar, salt) and homemade sweet potato and carrot fries with curry dip.
I'm tired. It's possible I have a thyroid problem - routine bloodwork came back with low levels. This would explain the extreme tiredness lately, and a few other weird symptoms I've been having. but it could also be I'm pushing myself too hard.
We'll see.
I'll try to stay on track and keep up with my updates.
Today's creation: Pumpkin Currant muffins
2 eggs
2 cups spelt flour
2 cups pure pumpkin puree
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp baking soda
2/3 cup oil
splash of vanilla
handful of currants
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice mix
Mix everything together and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Enjoy!
